Joy Nunn, owner and founder of AMT Financial, LLC, is a Federal Retirement Consultant specializing in retirement planning strategies that help clients protect their assets and ensure lifelong financial security. With a Bachelor of Science in Education from Southwest Texas State University, Joy started her career as an elementary teacher in Austin, Texas, before transitioning to financial planning to guide retirees and pre-retirees. Motivated by personal family experiences, she is dedicated to helping clients avoid financial hardships and live comfortably in retirement. A licensed Insurance Agent in Texas, Joy is skilled in complex retirement planning, including lifetime income and estate protection, and is actively involved in several professional organizations. Outside of work, Joy enjoys time with her family, relaxing by the lake, and spoiling her granddaughters, Lucy, Sadie, and Georgia.

Tanner Nunn is the Director of Operations for AMT Financial and a Licensed Insurance Agent in the state of Texas. Based in Austin with a background in technology consulting with Fortune 100 companies, Tanner’s passion at AMT is all about strategy. He has a knack for helping AMT clients navigate obstacles and solve problems that may have been preventing them from achieving their overall financial goals. Whether he’s creating efficiencies for AMT Financial to best serve their clients or working with clients directly to ensure they are making the most strategic decisions for their finances, Tanner loves chatting with folks to understand their goals and help them break down those goals into manageable and achievable milestones.

Tanner earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Texas at Austin with three minors (Government, Spanish, and Linguistics). After his college career, Tanner spent seven years working with Fortune 100 companies in the fast-paced technology sector, specifically acting as an Operations Manager and an Enterprise Account Executive for a global technology consulting company at its Headquarters in Austin. Tanner left consulting to join forces with his Mom and family and has discovered an unbelievable sense of respect for the financial industry and has felt compelled to help people understand the nuances that make this industry so challenging.

Outside of the office, you can find Tanner playing grass volleyball at Zilker park or playing tennis at one of the Austin tennis centers, walking his German Shepherd Axel around Lady Bird Lake, practicing yoga, or reading and writing at a local coffee shop. Mackenzie Hanley is the VP of College Funding and a Licensed Insurance Agent at AMT Financial in Austin, Texas. She is passionate about helping younger, forward-thinking individuals prepare financially for major life milestones, such as parenthood, career changes, and funding their children’s education. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Mackenzie began her career in event production and marketing before finding her true calling in the financial industry alongside her mother, Joy Nunn. Active in her community, Mackenzie volunteers with her local church and several non-profit organizations, and she is a member of the Junior League of Austin, the Austin Young Chamber, and other groups. Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys yoga, spending time on the lake, and exploring Austin with her husband, two daughters, and basset hound.

Kendall Stuck manages the Arlington office and is a Licensed Insurance Professional at AMT Financial, LLC, where she supports Joy with administrative tasks and assists clients with life insurance, college funding, and retirement planning. Passionate about working closely with families, Kendall believes each life stage, from newlyweds to retirees, requires careful planning to achieve future goals. She focuses on building strong relationships and tailoring financial strategies to her clients’ unique needs. Kendall holds a Bachelor of Science in Development and Family Studies from the University of North Texas and spent seven years as a high school teacher and athletics coach. Outside of work, Kendall enjoys spending time outdoors, relaxing on Texas beaches, or attending sporting events with her husband, Ryan, and son, River.

Janet Wooten is from Houston, Texas and supports Joy Nunn, Founder/CEO with administrative duties and client services. Janet has 30+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant in the corporate world and has worked with C-Suite Executives for over 10 years. Janet thrives when coordinating a complex schedule, handling the logistics of daily activities, and liaising with various internal and external parties including clients and management. She is a professional when it comes to exercising sound judgement and discretion when dealing with highly confidential/sensitive business matters at all times. Janet enjoys working with her sister, Joy, and traveling to the multiple AMT offices across Texas.

When not in the office, you can find Janet enjoying her four grandsons or traveling with her family and friends.
